I have particular interest and experience in providing speech therapy to help children with
I am a highly experienced Speech Therapist working with young children in the South Manchester/ Stockport area.
I qualified from the University of Newcastle in 2005 (BSc Hons Speech&Language Sciences), I have worked in the NHS for 12 years and I now work independently.
I am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy and the Association for Independent Speech and Language Therapists. I am also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Information Commissioners Office (Data Protection Act).
I very much enjoy my work and take pride in what I do. I care about doing a good job and making a difference.
Therapy sessions are delivered in the family home and will be tailored to suit the individual child and family.
I have a full enhanced DBS clearance (previously known as CRB).
Pricing reflects thorough, tailored intervention as well as onward referrals and liaison with relevant agencies.
It is a priority that children enjoy the sessions.
The fee for initial assessment varies depending on the nature of the problem
Therapy sessions are charged at £85 for 45 mins *
Price reduction for blocks of sessions e.g. block of 5
There is no minimum number of sessions.

How do I know whether this is a phase or not?
Parents know their children the best; when your gut is telling you it is time to seek help it probably is.
How long will it take and how much will it cost?
Basic costs are outlined on the website a more detailed quote can be given after information about the nature of the difficulties has been discussed. There is no pressure to sign up to a set number of sessions so the cost can vary depending on whether parents want a contact for practical advice while they are waiting for NHS care or if parents want ongoing intervention.
Why private over NHS?
The NHS provides high quality speech and language therapy but its resources are under pressure and waiting lists for initial assessment and therapy may be long.
I aim to provide you with a quick, flexible response to your initial enquiry, a detailed assessment, tailored intervention with advice, review and family support.
